@unchaindapp: “Come near to God and He will come near to you.” — James 4:8 Let’s be honest: it’s not that you don’t love God. It’s just that life moves fast—and faith easily falls behind the to-do list. You wake up, check your phone, scroll through texts, maybe post a story. Then it’s class, work, errands, catching up on DMs, TikTok, Netflix, late-night YouTube. By the time your head hits the pillow, you’re exhausted—but not fulfilled. And somewhere in all of that, God got quieter. Not because He walked away, but because you stopped giving Him space. Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) That means your soul needs His presence like your body needs food. But we try to survive on spiritual snacks—an Instagram verse here, a 3-minute prayer there—while filling up on everything else. Distraction isn’t just a modern problem. In Luke 10, Martha was busy doing good things, but missed the one thing that mattered most: sitting at Jesus’ feet. Mary chose better—and Jesus said it wouldn’t be taken from her. You haven’t lost your faith—you’ve just lost your focus. And the good news? Focus can be found again. Start small. Put the phone down for 10 minutes. Open the Word. Pray, even if it feels awkward. God honors your steps, no matter how shaky. He never stopped being near. He’s been here all along—waiting in the quiet, calling you back. —————— 👉 If this message spoke to your heart, drop a comment or share this with a friend.
