My life stopped 14 years ago... I spoke to my husband in bed on the morning and he got up and went to the wardrobe ... had a massive stroke... the last time I heard his voice was to hear him say he had gone deaf and the fear in his voice .... still makes me cry to this day ... I miss him everyday. 🥲 life's never the same

this happened to me also. At 6.30 my sister and I were on the phone talking about the upcoming Cornation Street, at 7.30 I was told she was gone. I can empathise completely as it is devastating.

my husbands mum was commenting on pictures of the kids on Facebook at 1.30am and was pronounced dead at 2.20am no warning 💔

my dad went to work one morning he was perfect ate breakfast and went painting at work he went outside for some air and massive heart attack he was only 49 I can't get my head around that ☹️

Txting my wonderful mum at 11pm one evening , she was “going up to bed and would call me in 15 mins” she died in my brothers arms frm a massive blood clot in her lungs by 11.15pm . Mind numbing grief

Using word 'floating' - so accurate. I was 12 when my mum died. I remember floating around for a long time before reality arrived. Your pain was tangible listening to this. My heart goes out to you.

I came home from work and found my husband on the floor, he had passed, December 2024, I'm stuck in disbelief, still today, I keep waiting for him to walk through the door, it's like a different life I'm living, it's not my life, the life I expected to have, it's an alternate life, and I'm devastated every day

This was me 12 years ago . I can still picture the police coming to the house and noise only later I realised the noise was me howling animal noises . It’s still as fresh today as then. 🥰🥰

I'll never forget seeing my husband lying in the morgue. It took ages for my brain to register what I was seeing. I could see him & knew he was passed but my brain couldn't translate the info.

I'm am so sorry for your loss. I lost my brother in October 2020. it's the unexpected suddenness of it. spoke to him the day before and he took his own life the next night. I'm still so lost.
