I didn’t understand the cremation process. I got to see my husband after I had found him deceased, I wasn’t able to go in at the hospital room after I had found him gone. I knew my husband wanted to be cremated but didn’t know I had the opportunity to see him again before cremation. Thankful they fixed him up before we went into the room before the cremation. Couldn’t see him again like that.

Please don’t call the decedent Mother or Father, refer to them by their name. I got so angry as did my siblings that we left and went to a different funeral home

When my husband passed I was allowed to say a final goodbye by myself or I thought. The funeral director was in the room. I screamed at him to leave.

I wish funeral homes directors would offer in or allow a mother who has lost a baby or a child to be able to sit in the front in a rocking chair and hope that child or baby one last time

stop using family's feelings against them!! they are broken hearted, don't sell them the most expensive casket, urn, etc., if graveyard don't require vault, tell family they don't have to purchase

Most funeral homes are run by men who do not check the women’s bathrooms before and during visitations and services. I’ve had to request toilet paper at more than one FH!

I hear elderly people, in my area, comment often about that they are worried that they may not be able to get up from the pews at our local funeral homes. They don’t want to be embarrassed.
