This can happen if it was a 4 prong newer chord and was swapped with a three prong. Could be missing a grounding strap.

I had this happen to me! When the rental company put our new stove in they attached the ground wire back to the stove, according to the electrician who came out and fixed it. 😅

If you are getting a shock from touching the stove while on check the ground screw possible loose and that’s why you are getting shocked most likely a loose wire connection on back of stove

Your grounding wire is the problem I had the same ifdue be careful with wet hands. Also, if you’re wearing rubber soled shoes you won’t get shocked
