I taught 4 different preps of Computer Science. Admin had no idea what any of my lesson plans meant so I threw in gibberish from time to time just to see if anyone noticed. They didn’t. 🤪

Waste of time! Things change on a dime daily/hourly! We’re supposed to “adapt” to everything. Lesson plans were never kept for me.

As a learning, disability teacher, my lesson plans are constantly changing. Sometimes a teacher asks me to teach something specific. Sometimes the lesson ends up taking far longer than I thought it would. Maybe I can’t even do the lesson because I’m called a way to help a student. Making integrate lesson plans that I might not even use just takes up my time

It’s busy work and justification. Map out a plan, but it doesn’t need to read like directions to launch the Space Shuttle. Being able to shift on the fly is the mark of a quality teacher.

As a music teacher, it is literally a minute by minute lesson bc not all of them can learn the music the same way. You never know how to teach them the music until it happens that day.
