Here in the states there is no more paper prescriptions, can’t remember last time I got one. There are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

Don’t pick French pls! Go for Dutch.. It’s a huge Advantage in Belgian Job market. I speak french but I prefer speaking Dutch since it’s better.

In Belgium we add it prescription to your ID card. the paper is a bit old school but it minuten be because you don't have a Belgian ID

Living in Belgium for 10yrs but somewhere vlaams area.. I don’t need stickers or dropping paper works anymore to get back anything from Mutualiteit and prescription. Everything are just in your ID.

I'm glad you got the help you needed! 🙏🏼 For us the prescriptions get tied to our ID, we dont need those papers anymore, i guess it's not yet available for you through the ID 😅

What you could go to the podoloog. A dr will do something that won’t fix your problem long time. I never heard going to a dermatologist for a toe problem. (I’m a pedicurist)

1/2 Try Berlaymont Health Centre. Lovely English speaking doctors. It is private but you get around half back with your mutual for a dr visit. My recent podiatrist appt there cost €45 for footcare.

Look up how to properly cut your toenail to prevent it getting ingrown. I had a recurring one for a year, until I learnt to cut it in a straight line, and never too short. Always leave it quite long

Wow. Old school dr. I pay 4 euros with my phone at my drs ( the rest is instantly taken care of by the mutuelle) and prescriptions are put on my id card.

In the US, a fingernail or toenail is usually seen by a dermatologist. If it was an ingrown nail, then a dermatologist would have dealt with that. At least that’s what happened with my husband in TX.
