We didn't bother. Figured we are there in their country using their public transport, their facilities and getting in free to many places which would be covered by the local tax payer.

if your from europe wnd fly to korea. you dont get euro back! exchange it in your country afterwards or take the korean money if you plan on going back again

Unless you've got a lot to claim back it's not worth it. I had £3.50 and when we got to the issuing desk the queue was huge! wasn't worth the wait
