as a braider myself , i use both but mostly use the orange braid gel. for me, i find that neat braid gel works better on finer hair while the orange works for all. if it turns white just use mousse.

If your orange gel has white cast.. put mouse over it and it will go away.. I loveeee the orange on especially when I do 4c hair.

The orange one turns white for sure and it makes it hard for the clients to wash their hair after take down. The hold is immaculate but neat braid looks better to me
