@unchaindapp: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin.” — Hebrews 4:15 Temptation isn’t sin. That distinction matters more than we think. Too many young adults walk around feeling defeated, not because they gave in to sin—but simply because they were tempted. And in that moment, shame starts whispering, “You’ve already failed.” But that's not the truth. Even Jesus—perfect, holy, sinless—was tempted. In the wilderness, Satan offered Him power, satisfaction, and comfort. But Jesus didn’t sin because temptation came. He resisted it. That’s the example Scripture gives us. Temptation is not a sin. It's a crossroads. Sin happens when we say yes to it. But temptation alone? It’s a test of the heart, not a stain on the soul. So the next time a thought creeps in, a desire rises, or an opportunity presents itself that you know isn’t from God—don’t panic. And don’t condemn yourself. Instead, remember what Hebrews 2:18 says: “Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.” Jesus doesn’t just understand your struggle—He walks with you in it. You’re not dirty for being tempted. You’re not weak for feeling it. And you haven’t lost the battle just because it showed up at your door. Victory starts with recognizing that temptation is not the end. It’s an opportunity to choose Him again. And the more you do, the stronger you become. —————— 👉 If this message spoke to your heart, drop a comment or share this with a friend.
