He didn’t do none wrong. He actually did everything right. The person that called the police was supposed to ask him to leave first unless they have visible signs stating loitering is prohibited. He wasn’t committing a crime though so it still wouldn’t matter. Therefore he didn’t have to show his ID and they could’ve just asked him to leave as he proposed when they initiated contact with him.

It is also a red flag when you are asking for ID when decision hasn’t committed a crime or being accused of one. even after he explained that he is reading a book, waiting for the storm to go by. Made perfect sense to me. The officers are wasting taxpayer money. go find a real criminal
