@taxesusa: And just like that, tax season is over… well, almost. Many states got an automatic extension, and we filed hundreds of extensions for our clients — so there’s no chance we’ll get bored anytime soon. This season was tough. Not everyone on the team made it to the finish line — and that’s okay. Working in taxes is a marathon, not a sprint. For me, this was season number 27. I’m still in shock. I’ve been doing this for over a quarter of a century. And honestly… I wouldn’t mind another 27. Well, maybe 20. Okay, 10 more at least! This year, for the first time, we had remote accountants join us — my tax course graduates. And I’m proud of each and every one of them. Seeing students become colleagues is an incredible feeling. My team is my fuel. I’m proud of all of you. Thank you for being by my side. You’re amazing. And a special thank you to my husband — during tax season, he turns into a one-man orchestra: cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, supporting me through it all.
