she tried touching his ears. rotties HATE their ears being touched. my male rottweiler is well trained and he will do this if i touch his ears too. notice how he was fine when she stroked the side of this face but as soon as he touched the ear he got mad??

The dog isn’t biting to hurt it holding because rottys r protective but u should still train ur dog not to do that unless told to cause it can startle ppl that dont know the dog

for those. without a mouthy dog, i have a DOBERMAN who does this same thing, he has NEVER bitten anyone and is 12 years old, he “bites” on our wrists and ankles of pants but only rests his teeth he’s never put pressure or anything, the only difference between this dog and any other is the rottweiler rumble making it seem aggressive

That dog is gently telling you it doesn’t want to be touched or pet at that moment. The dog is saying “back off, give me space.” It could’ve been from a stressful car ride or just the dogs preferences 🤷🏻♀

Rotties hate their ears being touched and the dog in the video barely even bit down on her hand. If the dog actually bit her she would be writhing in pain cause they have extremely powerful jaw muscles. I had a Rottweiler before and he was the sweetest thing ever, we would play fight all the time and he would do that. He would also stop if I made any noise that indicated that he bit a little too hard

it's not aggression but it is excitement and excitement can be dangerous if a dog that big doesn't know how bad it can hurt someone

My dog sometimes does stuff like that but never like that. He just puts his mouth around you and my border collie Australian Shepherd doesn’t do anything like that.

The dog is showing amazing bite inhibition. It's being very nice about telling that lady that it doesn't want to be touched. I would not call this dog aggressive with only this video to judge from.
