@hexhorrorshow: The first time I witnessed Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Pulse, this scene made me feel very uneasy. I had never seen a ghost move like this in a horror movie. The prolonged shot of her walking towards him freaked me tf out! #horror #pulse #kiyoshikurosawa #ghosts
the walk is creepy but the scene looks so dumb, he had a good 30 seconds to do anything other than sit on the floor

It’s not the walk that terrifies me, it’s the fact that this is supposed to be a ghost so it can’t walk normal and it’s FCKING TRYING BUT IT CANT THIS SHIT IS SCARY AF

I personally feel like the little "trip" ruins the effect. It's incredibly uncomfortable to witness a person walk slowly at you in a way that isn't natural. Her tripping brings her face into the light & throws off the pace of the uncanny walk. It looks like she's trying to be a goofy puppet. I wish, wish, wish that there would just be this agonizingly slow & unnatural approach - followed by her slowly sliding into view (but not her face!) her limbs slowly contorting while she gets nice & cozy with him. IMAGINING it THAT way literally makes me want to puke in fear. (my personal take)
