@scottish_psc: On the 24th of March 2025 the family of Walid Ahmed were informed that their son had died in an Isr*eli prison. Walid was just 17. Defence for Children International – Pal*stine (DCIP) determined that Walid likely died from "starvation, dehydration from colitis-induced diarrhoea, and infectious complications all compounded by prolonged malnutrition and denial of life-saving medical intervention". Walid’s death has made him the first child to have died in an Isr*eli prison but there are still over 300 children as young as 12 being held in Isr*eli prisons. Children who are undoubtedly being subjected to the same treatment that killed Walid Ahmed. We must continue to educate ourselves & speak out about the barbaric treatment of all Pales*tinian prisoners. So we ask that you join us as we screen First Picture at venues across Scotland.
