Just so you know, a lot of large lots do have people/cameras/robots that will roam the lots and take pics of plates so that when you say “oh gosh I’ve lost my ticket” they say “no prob, we know”

You can also go to a hotel with a free breakfast, head up the elevator, then go back down after a couple minutes, and head for the breakfast cafe. They won’t care enough to check closely.
