So many people have undiagnosed h.pylori. It can cause ulcers & a long list of health problems which can lead to serious diseases. More often than not it doesn’t show up on the usual blood labs. 1/2

Sensitive here as well. Scoped said my lining in stomach is very thin -why I had ulcers. I take Tylenol only-no nsaids, no anti inflammatory-rarely drink. Take something for my stomach regularly

I’m sorry this happened to you. I work in healthcare & want to mention, people who are prescribed Aspirin, other NSAIDS, or ‘blood thinners’ to ask if stomach protection should co-prescribed. 💕

I work in the PRHC endoscopy department - and with the gastroenterologist that treated your ulcer. This is a good warning for others not to ignore any of those signs and symptoms!

i had a perforated ulcer andnthe forst dr sent me home with threat of security telling me i need to seek drug counseling. went back after shift change and waited another 6-9hrs till they found it.

My husband went through this 2 years ago - on prescription NSAID for arthritis. Hospitalist told us no one over 50 should take ANY NSAIDS.

I am a senior and my Dr told me to stay away from them. I am surprised they keep them on the market because they are so bad for you. She told me take Tylenol instead

That happened to me 2 yrs ago. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days with bad ulcer. 5 pints of blood transfusion 2ivs as well. all from Advil

This is how I know I have an iron stomachache 😅 I've been taking large dose NSAIDS since I was 9ish. I have never had a problem. I'm sorry you had this terrible experience.

Thank you for sharing…..my Mom (just 3 years ago now), had the same experience, (from doctor prescribed meds), but was too weak to fight & passed. I am grateful for info posts like these! 💔🥹
