Just as a reminder to other people- this is saving no money on interest because this is prepaying the interest each month. Only helps save interest if it is applied to principal and not future payment

This is a great goal! It doesn’t look like you’re paying directly to principal which means you aren’t saving on interest- you’re just prepaying it. There should be an option to chose a principal payment. If there isn’t I’d ask the bank to tell you how

If it is changing the due date then you aren’t paying less. You would have to have the payments applied directly to the principal in order to save any money.

Check and see if the company you are with charges for early pay off fee. There are some companies that do that.
