I hated that scan when I had it. It’s so close to your face. But once you get past that part and you can see it’s absolutely fine. Only about 5 mins so I just closed my eyes lol

Go tomorrow for my nuclear bone scan tomorrow. Already had pet scan. They seen something on sternum and spine. So now bone scan it is.

I have TNBC.. why would they want a bone scan?? could it spread to the bones?? I've been on filgrastim injections for a few weeks too!..x

I also had those tests three weeks ago and last week they gave me the results, thank God the cancer didn't invade my brain. I'm clean after my mammectomy. God help us in this fight.

I can tell you that’s the only thing I’ve not had done I have stage 4 mbc I do a pet scan every three months and a brain MRI every four months very interesting

mine was 45min long and it made my neck and whole back very sore after 3 hours. I took a strong pain medication to alleviate the pain a little bit so i was able to sleep a bit good that night.

Ask ur oncologist to get an MRI about your head! Its just as important than checking up the bones.
