@lui_fern: I was training a new bartender recently and teaching him Roundbuilding and I realized I never made a video on it! It is truly one of the most important skills any bartender can learn and one that makes such a practical difference to be able to thrive in a high-pressure and fast paced environment that is a bar! -- Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video and if you got something out of it share it! Or if you do something different or if you think I'm wrong about something let me know below
batched cocktails are KEY!! less room for bartender error for portions + faster service without losing quality. Don’t know why more bars don’t do it.

I'm working at a bar that does not understand the 1 step idea. Trying to introduce it each time I work. slowly every bartender is starting to adapt my setup cause they realize how helpful it is 🤣🙏

Even how you arrange your ice is important for this, particularly when you have to share an station. All of my coworkers suck at sharing

I sometimes feel I spend more time training staff on timing than actually making the cocktails

Excellent video you explained everything very well, however there’s no simple syrup in a margarita that made me mad 😡🤣🤣

Do you offer in personal trainings or group classes? My dream since I was a teenager is to become a premier bartender! Once I reach my years of service and earn my pension, I want to be a bartender!!

Got a question what’s the purpose of double straining if there wasn’t anything muddle or anything like that?

I’ve always put the ice in the glass before I start building. What’s nice is our severs garnish their basic drinks, cherries, limes, lemons, olives, oranges.

Very informative and interesting video. I'm not a bartender, but I find it fascinating and enjoy mixing cocktails at home and at parties. Would you use the same jigger for all these cocktails and if so, do you rinse it between spirits or are the leftover drops too insignificant?

How does your bar handle glassware replenishing? Are you doing the washing or do you have someone bringing you new glassware? I work in a high-ish volume hotel restaurant and one of our biggest struggles is retaining glassware. Thanks!

Wish I could do the one step concept. Not possible with our bar setup, mostly because of the liquor choices and where all the glass where are placed
