They also need to know that their feelings aren’t everything and their feelings can lie to them and their feelings aren’t always a reflection of reality their feelings don’t control them. I hate the focus on all these feelings teach them discipline do what’s right despite you feeling like doing the wrong thing

Depending on the culture. In Puerto Rico, where I’m from, the boys are catered to & cared for like kings, & the girls are made to work & help out like any other female adult from a very young age.

Gender biases vary in different cultures. Depends on their upbringing. As a daughter I can say I was raised to be emotionally strong and not nurtured. Boys had more previlidges, but I get your point
