@boozybunnies: Last year, Malibu was diagnosed with vestibular disease after a sudden onset of symptoms—we found her one morning on her side, unable to stand without falling over. We rushed her to the vet & she was hospitalized overnight. Over the next few weeks, we stayed up through the night to give her meds, help her eat, and gently place her in the litter box since she was too disoriented to move on her own. We did physical therapy together. We celebrated every wobbly step forward. And slowly, she started to heal. Her balance still isn’t perfect. But she’s happy, playful, and more herself than we ever thought possible.
