Vermicomposting is an easy, eco-friendly way to recycle food waste and improve your soil. 🪱 Prepare the Bin: I used @vego_garden compost Bin, Add 4–6 inches of moistened bedding. And add Vegetable/kitchen scraps. 🪱 Add Worms: Place them on top—they’ll dig down naturally. 🪱 Feed the Worms: • Bury food scraps in different spots every few days. • Cover with bedding to control smell and pests. 🪱 Maintain the Bin: • Keep it moist (not soggy). • Store in a cool, shaded spot (55–77°F is ideal). • Add bedding as it breaks down. 🪱 Harvesting Worm Castings: • After 2–3 months, you’ll see dark, crumbly compost. • Push contents to one side, add fresh bedding and food to the other. • Worms will migrate, allowing you to scoop out finished castings.
