This is approximately the same distance as Boston to Washington DC. - Low cost TGV are branded as “ouigo” (as in “yes, let’s go”) - Mainstream TGV are branded as “inoui”, which is a play on the French word inouï (translates to a once in a lifetime, incredible experience) 🎫Tickets are available on sncf-connect app or website (skip the others). Generally booking open up 4 months beforehand, with special ticket sales opening dates for school vacations. - Sometimes you can upgrade to first class for as little as 15 euros - There is not yet TGV high speed rails linking Marseille to Nice due to the geographical challenges (mountains and rugged coastline) and population density along the coast.
