Key examples include the Drumul Taberei and Militari housing districts, where standardized apartment blocks embodied socialist egalitarianism (and later, urban decay). Another notable structure is the IMGB Factory, showcasing the era’s emphasis on industrial production over ornament. These buildings were designed to reflect the regime’s vision of a homogenized, egalitarian society, though their rigid uniformity often sacrificed livability.
