@mycozybakesbyabyz: baking therapy ❤️ This is my Chocolate Cake with Whipped Chocolate Ganache 🍫 DRY Ingredients: 200g (1c) white granulated sugar 120g (1c) all purpose flour 35g (1/3c) cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp coffee powder 1 tsp salt WET Ingredients: 120g (1/2c) warm water 120g (1/2c) buttermilk 60g (1/4c) vegetable oil 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla Whipped Ganache: 270g (1.5c) dark chocolate *I used compound 135g (1/2c + 1 tbsp) heavy cream Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 300F (150C). 2. In a bowl, sift and whisk the dry ingredients together. 3. In a separate bowl whisk together all the wet ingredients until well combined. 4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently until no streaks of flour remain. Do not overmix the batter. 5. Grease 2 6" round pan with a little oil and line the bottom with baking paper. Divide the batter into the pans (approximately 340g-350g of batter per pan) 6. Tap the pans on the counter to release air bubbles. Then bake for 40-45 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting. 7. To make the ganache, heat the cream in the microwave or on the stove until it just starts to bubble. then pour this over the chocolate. Mix thoroughly until all chocolate is dissolved. Cover and refrigerate. Once cold, beat the ganache using a whisk or a hand mixer until it doubles in volume and becomes lighter in color. 8.
