Funny how they were forced into slavery and became ‘twisted’ as a result, a coping mechanism, a way of survival but they are more hated than their captors/enslavers, bystanders/society.

It’s the fact that neither of then came to their worst choices on their own either. Eckles was literally magic mind manipulated by the villain to act on his worst feelings and Rashta was manipulated

and i hate the fact that the slavery issue is also never addressed properly in the manhwas,they js brush over it and glorify the characters that are part of the oppressing system (navier, penelope, etc)

I honestly hate how both the fandom in the creators treat slave characters because they’re not “on the hero” side and honestly, they would make really interesting characters and are interesting characters, even with the creator not going in depth with them
