try rubbing his belly! I had a constipated cat in a lot of pain, I rubbed softly her belly in circles for a whileand a few moments later she went to take a shit and throw up 😂 she was fine soon after

I’ve worked in rescue, we had a bloated puppy similar story …and it ended up being problems with her liver that is now easily managed by her diet! Have they thought about checking her liver levels?

Had foster puppies like this. It was parasites from them being housed with a pig. Took weeks of wormer rounds and still lost some to parasitic pneumonia. If they haven't, get fecal test and xray
