I just googled heat related deaths in NC and it gave me the number (225) over an 18 year period… over 600 people in Arizona died of heat related deaths just last year. Get back to us when you actually experience a literal desert with an urban heat island.

I get what he’s saying. AZ is dry. I would also prefer Az heat over humid heat. Humid heat you feel suffocated and sticky!

You know how they say it’s the humidity? They ain’t lying. We keep getting humidity warnings. Ppl who have breathing problems have to stay inside when the humidity is too high

I live here in NC and I’m from La and TX. NC doesn’t hold a candle to the heat of TX. You guys have all 4 seasons! We love it here purely because summers are bearable and the seasons are beautiful.

Laughing in Texas with 110° weather and 100% humidity as our normal summer weather. When you open the door to walk outside it feels like you’re stepping into an oven. I’ve lived in MS, LA, and TN. I also spend a lot of time in NC, and it’s definitely not hotter there than Texas. 😂

NC Native that resides in TX. ( have also live in GA, LA, HI, and IL ), TX is definitely hotter.

every one I've met day that SC is hotter than Texas, Vegas, etc because of the humidity. I'm sure NC is just as humid so yes the heat is like my worse
