Those that say no, I think they haven’t had such pain to a point where they’ll do ANYTHING to be pain free. Specially if ur suffering for months or years and all you want is to be free from such pain.

It may be a minimal invasive because of the timeframe however the amount of risk is not minimal. Also, for me, “just pressure” as a pain level is not even considered for the amount of pain I have with these injections. Spinal injections are a 10 on a 1-10 level even with versed IV. 😏

I’ve had two.The procedure is not that bad except for a few seconds of feeling like a brick dropped on your back. But the relief was so minimal and temporary for me.

This is one of the worst procedures mine got infected and I ended up in the ER for high fever and complications from getting the steroid epidural

Why did my doc not use any numbing or sedation ? 6 Injections per visit, 3 separate visits. Cried thru it while perfectly still.

I have had 5… it’s horrible and does not work.i never get any relief from them and feel miserable afterwards.

Have to do this this Friday. Have 4 at once and am terrified but I am completely out of options I have no choice it’s this then surgery. Idk what to do anymore.

These injections are VERY painful for me. Mild sedation don’t do much. For me, pain management, should provide a stress free, anxiety free, and prevent additional pain to the patient. Twilight sedation works better for me when having these injections in the cervical and lumbar areas.
