I think some Indonesian's & Filipinos women also fell victim to the comfort women system during the occupation. It's just our gov aren't so adamant about seeking justice.

I’ve avoided APA Hotels like the plague since finding out last year! Echoing other comments though that Southeast Asian women (Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor-Leste) were also comfort women.

Found this out after staying at an apa hotel, was a bit shocking to see those books in the hotel room. won’t be staying at another on our next trip and will avoid coast hotels in Canada that they own.

As a Japanese I actually don’t know why people would choose APA. Unless you are a salary-man on business trip 😅 There are many better options in the same price range.
