Im a maternity care assistant - and theyre really good to begin with to help him establish a latch but dont rely on them for a long period of time because they do have negatives! proud of you girly xx

As baby gets older it will get better without the sheilds as baby will develop the muscles to suckle correctly. Also pump after feeding as sheilds don’t fully empty out
