Run your pencil up the back of the skirt along the corner bead, corners are out 90% of the time on clock work, then cut too the furthest point.. never go wrong

Scribing the back works nicer for me, and if it's sitting like a mm past the corner or just flush I find it easier to work with to make it nice depending on how nice the external corner is

I remember the struggle of my first couple solo jobs. Didn’t have a miter saw so I cut everything by hand or with my circular saw. Thank goodness my first couple customers wanted just flat stock
