I've opened up to exes and to women I genuinely wanted to connect with, but more often than not, they didn’t reciprocate or care. Sometimes, it even felt like my honesty was met with resentment—as if being open about my feelings made me less of a man in their eyes. I can see now why some men start to believe vulnerability is weakness. This isn’t a dig at your content, bro—I respect it. I just think it’s important to acknowledge that while some women truly appreciate emotional honesty, a lot still don’t, especially those who are carrying trauma from their past. 🙂

Mature women tend to demand that you open up. My beautiful ex wanted me to open up. I had to dig deep to find the strength be vulnerable. Pulled on one side by masculine ideas and on the other hand a women’s need to see and be with me.

It’s attractive but also it’s with what intent are you doing this for? To impress a woman or for human connection? Women may appreciate men opening up but it may not mean they want something romantic. And that’s where I think some of these comments are coming from, that men expect women to validate them incessantly.
