nope. this isn't fool proof. you need to be able to smell the juice @ the bottom. the more fragrant, the more ripe

For those that don’t know ripe means ready to eat asap. So cut it up and serve when you get home. Otherwise get the unripe one for another day

Actually pulling leaves from the stem tells you what pineapples are rotten not ripe. And whoever said ripe pinapples are yellowed is also wrong because that’s just a chemical.

A pineapple never gets ripper after it’s picked it just starts to go bad so if it pops out like that it’s old not ripe
