@miyoko_food: I always prefer to use small quantities of cream at a time. . Even then, there is always a little that remains. . This method has helped to make sure I utilize the leftovers before it's expiry; which is typically within a week of when I open it. . It has also helped me to ensure that I don't use cream that has expired! 😅 . To store, I do the following: . 1) I cut the top of the pack in a straight line above the white lid provided. . 2) I squeeze the top ends and tie a runner band around it, below the lid. . 3) I wrap the top of the box with a layer of cling film. . 4) I wrap the top again with a piece of foil. . 5) Finally, I use a dark marker pen to write the date on one or both sides, before placing it in the fridge.
