I’m all for the second amendment right bare arms. However, I don’t trust a single freaking person walking around carrying a gun unless you’re out hunting animals and even then I don’t trust the user to not shoot something that they’re not supposed to shoot.

Well, the cops have common sense - in this case. Whoever made and passed that law - is clearly a psychopath (plural - since 1 vote is not enough). Most parts of the world - a civilian caught in public with a weapon like that - would go directly to jail (or a nuthouse - if he proves to be mentally unstable). And yet, that state is like the wild weld - while governed by psychopaths. 😐
