Ross was obviously wrong, but I believe he was under the impression she was about to sleep woth Mark so he acted out on a whim... He realy loved her and he was pushing the girl away she was just persistent and he was drunk, mad, and thought that his gf literaly went right to the guy she told him not to worry about the second they broke up. It was wrong to sleep with her but I think that he just wasn't thinking clearly. But also I loved Rachels reaction it was super mature and she just worded everything so perfectly. Her confronting him just always makes me cry😭

Unpopular opinion but I kind of understand why Ross did that he thought they were broken up so he wanted something/ someone too make him feel better he had no idea it would end up with them back together also he thought Rachel was with mark at the time so he didn't think it was cheating cause he just thought they were moving on already
