was given one of these vehicles. also gave a milk jug of nuts and bolts and told good luck putting it back together.... wasn't even told why the front and bottom of the engine was taken apart

Having the same issue on a 07 Acadia. The VVT solenoid code comes back even after changing the oil, not sure what to do there, replace solenoid?

dad has a 02 envoy. saved it out of the scrap yard. rebuilt the front end, tire rods. wheel bearings, front axles seals, front and rear brakes, sway bar links X4. leaks fluids sure. but it runs great and it's 4x4 has never let us down yet. Inline 6 reliability. also working on a M52TUB28 bmw engine on the side. and a ford 300cui I6. too many projects 😅

The oil change lights on these cars can go upwards of 9000 miles. I have one of these, I change every 5k religiously. And my rear main seal leaks, so I also check every 500 miles.

Check the purge valve. also the MAF sensor will throw a camshaft sensor code too. These are common issues with the trailblazers

I had a no start replaced everything and new engine. As soon as he starts it rockers got. 8000 I have in it and now waiting on studs. plus heater core is full of oil cause over heat.
