Is the urologist giving a timeline to remove the cath? UTIs are very common unfortunately with excessive length of having a catheter in.

Hope he can get it out soon. My dad had one after he had a stroke. It’s been out for a long time now. Doing well. Hope Ed can get his out soon too.

very good U are taking him to the ER! there can be another infection. my dad developed sepsis this way.....😢 take care!!

Glad you are going to the ER. UTI’s are dangerous left untreated. And they are getting hard to eradicate ☹️

Another infection? Can the catheter be removed? He could use a urinal. I just know they are a great source of infection

when he have an infection <--- catheter. then he get a antibioticum. but when he start a antibioticum then you have put a new catheter before he start with a new AB. Did he goed defeaction. than you

I know when I had a catheter in when I almost died last year I had it in for about 2 weeks at least and I always felt like I had to go to the bathroom while it was in there but there was no infection
