A different family favorite variation of this recipe is… Tator Tots bottom, cooked seasoned ground beef with or without onions. Cream of Chicken thinned w milk. Top with fresh shredded cheese of choice

Gave this a go tonight and the only thing I did different was add half a block of cream into the sauce mixture. So good! Another way to save a pan is brown your meat in a deep cast iron pan and then throw everything into the oven, came out beautifully ☺️

Okay! Major hit at our house but like I said in another comment I had to make adjustments because I didn't have everything I thought I had. Cream of chicken instead of mushroom. Back of beefy onion. Mozzarella and cheddar on top. I added panko and mixed with cheese because I didn't have enough of either cheese. I did pound and a half and added a few more scoops of sour cream since it seemed like I may have used bigger hashbrowns too
