What is frustrating is when MD doctors completely contradict each other, e.g. , fatty liver disease and diabetes. Low Carb v. High carb (Mediterranean diet) . Not quacks, actual MDs. Big Pharma??

I welcome patients being informed. They are free to believe me or Google. I use it as a learning opportunity. We have “autonomy” and the 3rd leg of Evidence Based Practice stool is patient preference. I would never personally take a Statin, regardless of what the MD says. I hope my PCP respects that. I do know microfiche. 😃
