The student midwife we had with our midwife was amazing little man kept kicking the monitor and wriggling so she sat next to me holding the monitor for hours. She was so reassuring and helpful

Im 5”6 and my partner is 6”1 i was measuring “big” baby was born 8lb 11oz which i think is reasonable as we arent exactly small people 😂

midwife here! student midwives are unbelievable. any good midwife will manage what they do depending on their ability but they are kind, supportive and another advocate for you ❤️❤️❤️

Don’t regret having a trainee at all my son didn’t cry straight away it was the trainee that told me step by step what was going on I dunno if it was her nerves talking it out or what but it helped

I had a student midwife in my labour and honestly they were great. But to be fair a brass band could have paraded through the delivery room and I wouldn’t have cared 😂

I had a trainee midwife in with me. She was the loveliest. My labour ended in emergency section and she was right there with me being positive and reassuring the whole time. She was a gem.

My trainee midwife was the one that noticed for me baby was iminantly coming, the midwife kept leaving thinking I wasn't that close. I had the trainees full attention and support and she was jamming with me and my birthing playlist🤣made the experience for me

I had a student midwife in and through my whole labour she supported me more than anyone. She was only 19, she was absolutely brilliant and after my delivery she sat with me and showed me how to wind and feed my son properly and honestly that small thing she did for me made me feel so much better about having a newborn and being a first time mum💖

I had the same midwife and even after I had my little girl I had the same midwife come and do my checks and when I had an infection she was there within 3 minutes of me calling 🥺

only advice is don't let them break your waters they said the had broke mine then 2 hours later a doctor came in and said they wasn't fully broken and nearly ended up having a section

Wow we had the same thing, they said that our baby felt very big so we needed an extra growscan. Just to figure out everything is okay and she isn’t big at all. Worried for the whole week 🫠
