@thrivephysioclinic: ⚠️ Pain in the ball of your foot? That sharp, burning, or bruised feeling under your toes isn’t just “getting older” it could be metatarsalgia, sesamoiditis, a bunion, or even a nerve like Morton’s neuroma acting up. Here’s the kicker: Most people walk around for weeks (or months) hoping it’ll settle. But without addressing the root cause — tight calves, poor footwear, or overuse — it won’t. You don’t have to put up with it. Whether it’s inflammation, nerve irritation, or poor mechanics, it’s fixable. With the right treatment plan, most people feel better within a few sessions. I think I have sesamoiditis, and I am supposed to be having my highest milage week for marathon training this week, I took off yesterday and today to rest and Ice but should I even be doing my 20 miler this weekend? Is there anything I can do or am I going to be in rough shape for my marathon?

I started an intense workout routine and my 5th metatarsal became angry and my left foot. That’s the same thing I have chronic Achilles tendinitis. And now both feet are angry. They burn and they swell but that metatarsal is killing me!😭

Thank you for this video, it was really informative. I think I suffer from no 1. I have started doing fast walks about 4 miles and it starts to hurt so far through my walk, only one foot

I've had mortons neuroma in both feet now for 6 years, it's crippling at times. Injections made it worse. Sometimes I can barely walk. 😭

Is it best to buy wide shoes if someone is dealing with some of the things that you’re talking about? Like bunions.

So I got plantar fasciitis during pregnancy. I got too big and wore bad shoes and for a while it was like walking on glass but it kisnd of got better slowly. Today, I’m in agony. In one spot. They have been aching and hurting again but today awful pain. I’m not over weight. But I have a very active job. But it’s awful.
