@rus_in_the_us: This is Adler on the video, city in the south of Russia. The most popular place for vacation. We have a joke, that the prices in the south are so high that sometimes it’s cheaper to buy 2weeks tour to Turkey in the 5* all inclusive hotel😅 #russiantiktok #russianwomen #lifeinusa #lifequestions #roadto10k #russians
Fat is fat. Why is fat ugly? At one point, fat was the beauty standard, now it’s thin. If women live their entire lives trying to fit into societies views of what is “beautiful” we will miss out.

the standard is to be thin. our moms all had eating disorders and a lot of us inherited that. some of us are taking back how we feel about our bodies. it’s a big movement that fat is beautiful (it is)

I had an eating disorder in the 2010s before the body positivity thing got big. I'm fat now, but when I think back to that, I remember having to always have a cushion cause if I laid or sat on

standard is still to be thin but the US is a lot more accepting of body types compared to Russia and Japan

That’s definitely a mindset, it took me years and still need work to be self confident with my body. I honestly felt the better being at my biggest and worse at my smallest.

Im chubby but im also smart and funny, i love my family friends and boyfriend and they love me. I have hobbies and passions, likes and dislikes. My weight isnt the only thing that defines who i am.

That girl was raised to love her body or went through a lot of shit trying to love it and either way she got there, this is not common, some people truly do love their body but not most.

self love in whatever state your body and mind may be in is very common in the US But so is making fun of people who are confident or insecure so it can go either way

women will point it out first, before you get a chance to say something about it. because most men here would 💔

A body positivity moment started about 10ys ago, it really changed how a lot of American women view our bodies. There’s still a long ways to go but we’ve seen a lot of improvement in the last decade!

I used to be insecure about my body but I've been skinny now and I've been fat and now I'm somewhere in between and it just feels like I was made to be this size. not perfect but perfect for me.

In america it’s controversial, your body isn’t a trend so when you realize how you look on the outside wont matter if you’re the same person inside through the years of change it’s a lot more freeing

You only get one body your whole life, why hate any part of your first and true home? The fat cushions you from falls, your bones hold you tall, muscles to keep you strong. Variation makes the world beautiful ❤️
