Fat is fat. Why is fat ugly? At one point, fat was the beauty standard, now it’s thin. If women live their entire lives trying to fit into societies views of what is “beautiful” we will miss out.

the standard is to be thin. our moms all had eating disorders and a lot of us inherited that. some of us are taking back how we feel about our bodies. it’s a big movement that fat is beautiful (it is)

I grew up comparing myself to my tiny little sister. but now I am in my mid 30s and I am a mother. I love my body. it has carried me this far and given me a son. ❤️fat, celluloid & stretch marks too

Depends where, i know im fat but i know since im hispanic and in a hispanic area of America i dont have to worry to much since the standards are bit different but when i went to a mainly white school-

That’s definitely a mindset, it took me years and still need work to be self confident with my body. I honestly felt the better being at my biggest and worse at my smallest.

Im chubby but im also smart and funny, i love my family friends and boyfriend and they love me. I have hobbies and passions, likes and dislikes. My weight isnt the only thing that defines who i am.

A body positivity moment started about 10ys ago, it really changed how a lot of American women view our bodies. There’s still a long ways to go but we’ve seen a lot of improvement in the last decade!

In america it’s controversial, your body isn’t a trend so when you realize how you look on the outside wont matter if you’re the same person inside through the years of change it’s a lot more freeing
