@thepsycholotea: You weren’t the whole problem. You just got used to carrying all of it. When you’ve spent years being a people pleaser, managing other people’s emotions, anticipating their needs, and over-apologising just to keep the peace, of course your first instinct is to blame yourself when things fall apart. But… Not every break is yours to repair. Not every trigger is your fault. And accountability shouldn’t come at the cost of self-abandonment. If you’re constantly thinking… “Was I too much?” “Should I have stayed quieter?” “Maybe if I’d just done more…” then this is your reminder: ✨ You can be self-aware without being the scapegoat. ✨ You can take responsibility without taking *all* the responsibility. Let this be the moment you stop performing perfection to keep love and start showing up as someone who KNOWS they’re enough, even when things get hard. Drop a 💛 if this hit home and let’s be kinder to ourselves. #relationshipadvice #breakuprecovery #ex #nocontact #avoidant #lettinggo #psychologist #HealingJourney #movingon
I also over-apologize to model how to take responsibility so he does it, too

What’s worse is being self aware enough that your doing it but can’t control it

But it is never real responsibility, if it was you would go to therapy and change something about the anxious attachment. The video does it too, the other must be avoidant because it can't be you 😂😂
