Negative comments on fibromyalgia don’t help for people who actually suffer and still manage to work full time!! 🥺

They've already proven that fibromyalgia is an autoimmune disease and doesn't stem from the pain center in the brain. I'm eagerly awaiting the biological treatment that is currently being researched.

sick of people assuming those of us with fibro are benefit scroungers who don't work. I work full time and suffer for it 🫠 plough through every damn day though, no complaints!

I have a couple of autoimmune disorders, one of which severe. I’d imagine Fibromyalgia is going to be discovered as some form of autoimmunity in the future.

Negative comments around Fibromyalgia, many of us work, run households, support families..a pain relief that works would be great step forward

I've taken cyclobenzaprine for years. It's never helped my fibromyalgia.

I take regular cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxer, now for muscle spasm and I have fibro. It does zero, zip, nada for any of my fibro pain. Cyclo is already approved as Flexeril as a generic.

for the comments saying we’re too lazy to work. I worked for months and my body got so tired I got sick 4 times in a row. I lost 17kg/37lbs cuz I couldn’t leave the bed and cook. Think b4 u judge us.

All the people in the comments that clearly don’t suffer from fibromyalgia 🤷♀️i really hope one day you don’t have to live with the constant pain

it's a muscle relaxer..... not pain medication. I have it in tablet form and it does not get rid of anything.

So it’s dissolvable Flexaril. Does the dissolving make it work better? Because Flexiril alone does nothing.

Currently weaning off Pregabalin, it’s hellish! Just a shame that it takes so long for new treatments to become available. What’s your opinion on Low Dose Naltrexone?

I wonder if this would potentially treat other conditions like EDS / MS ect 👀

Fibromyalgia is when the nervecenter in the spine constantly sends pain signals to the brain. It is very real and very painful.

I have severe fibromyalgia and I struggle everyday. I would try anything to help. Hope this becomes available where I live.

It’s really sad to hear the excitement over a medication that has been available for so long in a tablet formulation that is not a good chronic treatment for really anything 😓

I wonder whether this could be extended to patients with ME/CFS if approved

This is not a new medicine but a repackaging. This is not a treatment at all. It just can help you relax your muscles whilst you’re sleeping

Dispite me feeling many symptoms of FM, my doctor dose blood test, says everything looks fine, and that's it. He treats me like it's all in my head, and I know damn well it's not. I'm so exhausted.

This would be a miracle. Finally something that can help. Even if it helps with 50% of the pain that would be amazing.
