What about BED BUGS???🪲🤢 I am asked about this allll the time. I know buying used furniture is RISKAYYYY. So, here are the steps I take when I buy furniture to hopefully not bring home any unwanted pests.🤞🏻 I AM NOT AN EXPERT! But I wanted to share some precautionary steps just in case it’s helpful. 1. Always inspect throughly. Every crevice. They are sneaky. 2. Leave it out. Outside or garage. Or somewhere people aren’t. Give it time and check again every once in awhile to see if there are any new signs. 3. Steaming the furniture at 180+ degrees and doing it fully is one way to kill them. 4. Cimexa is a great product! It is a diatomaceous earth powder that kills bed bugs. I have used this as a line of defense just in case. Wear gloves and mask when using this. I know I forgot the gloves.🥴 I usually puff it on and get it in the crevices and seams really well. I leave it for a couple days. Then I vacuum the areas that people will touch, but I leave it under the cushion in the corners that aren’t touched. Please read directions if you use it! Check stories for links to the everything!
