I think it’s important to realize that obviously some people are scared but also a lot of people including myself who have worked with dogs know that some dogs need their own space and it’s respectful to keep distance for your safety and the dogs safety.

I have a cane corso too but she is mixed with a presa Canario and has a bit of Great Dane blood in her so I wouldn’t have much of a reaction

depends if I have my dog with me ,if I don't I walk by leaving comfortable room ,if I do I give you clearance and have my dog sit until you pass because to many people around if my dog reacts ,even just people panic thinking something bad because two big dogs

I am known in my house for pulling over to yell at someone how pretty their dog is, and asking if I can pet them. Idgaf how busy you look, I will compliment and ask politely if I can pet the dog.
