It's so hard because you can see how performative they become 😭 saying things they think sound "cool" hoping they come off as interesting. and it's like baby I've been there! You don't need to perform when you're at home 😭😭 Their (very natural) desire to be accepted and liked invades their entire lives when they start having more self and societal awareness.
