Replying to @Sancheezy The perfect El Yunque Rainforest self-guided itinerary. Family friendly too! Stop 1. Yokahu Tower, parking lot right in front. Portable bathrooms here. The smaller tower in the forest. Stop 2. Juan Diego Creek. Park along the side of the road. Limited parking. First fall is smaller and only a 5 min walk. Easy steps like a stair case. The second waterfall is maybe a 10 min walk up with similiar steps. The third taller water fall takes more climbing over roots and under tree trunks, about 15 minutes. I wouldn’t go this far this with my little ones because it wasn’t any more impressive than the second waterfall and not worth the risk. - turn around and drive back to the entrance of the park - Stop 3. La Coca Falls you can see on the side of the road. There is a parking lot here but it was closed when we arrived so we just pulled over to the side for a quick photo op. Stop 4. Angelito for a beautiful ten minute flat trail to a beautiful and relaxing swimming hole and river with rocks to climb. Great spot for families. I saw lots of kids. Bring snacks and drinks and hang out. Parking spots in front and on side of road. #puertorico #elyunque #itinerary #selfguidedtour
